About Luring
Luring Atelier is a small, creative workshop making handmade children’s clothing from vintage and upcycled textiles. Each piece is unique and made mostly to order, so both the design and size can be tailored to its little owner.
The name Luring means "little rascal" in Norwegian, and comes from the three I have at home – three little rascals. They have inspired me to create children’s clothes that are a little different from what you’ll find in the big chain stores. Here you won’t find beige leggings or sweatpants covered in superheroes, but a quirky mix of colourful curtains and tablecloths living their best lives as clothes for little rascals.
One of the things I enjoy most is searching for beautiful, colourful vintage and upcycled fabrics in great quality – and giving them a new life as cool and slightly different clothes for children.
I hope you and your little rascal find something you like!
Love, Karianne

Quality and sustainability
The clothes are sewn from vintage textiles, which helps reduce the garments' carbon footprint. By giving existing textiles new life, you also avoid the resource use associated with the production of new textiles, including the consumption of energy, water and land.
As the textiles have been used in their previous lives, minor traces of use, variations in color, structure or other natural characteristics may therefore occur. This is part of the nature of the textiles and must be expected when purchasing. However, any marks should not be significant or unsightly, and the textiles should be appropriate for the garment in question.
